@Puckdrawn. I'm confident that the jerseys will likely be the same ones they've worn this year. As I've said, they're a HUGE success. The fans and players all love them.

Orange jerseys. That's great news! But when are they going to fix the logo on the sweaters and get rid of the squared off wings? It doesn't match the logo as used everywhere else (printed material, bumper stickers, etc.)and it doesn't look right.

While I'm sure that the team will keep the black around, I'm very glad that the team will go back to being predominantly orange.

I love the look of the current third sweaters and hope that's what they're going to be wearing next season.

I'm glad the Flyers will be wearing orange more often. The orange uniforms are some of the most distinctive in sports, and the orange works really well with black helmets, black pants, and one of the simplest and most distinctive logos in sports. The all-black look was very dull.

The jersey design from 82/83 through the lockout was still my favourite though, more so than the earlier design that the current 3rds feature. The current whites feature piping which is too thin, and the sleeve ends are a mess, but I'll attribute that the sorry state of the NHL, who are simply in it for marketing and corporate relationships, like with Reebok--where the extraction of a dollar from the public is supposed to cover the smell of creating something atrocious.

I'm interested to see how they work the orange vs. black in next season. I'm sure both will be used, but I don't know how. Still knowing that it's going to be EVERY game this postseason makes me happy.

I am so happy to see the orange return full-time! This team is the ORANGE AND BLACK, not the BLACK AND WHITE.

[...] Officially Orange Just when I thought today would be a slow news day, it becomes a big news day for Flyers fans and those sick of black jerseys. The Flyers made it official that they will be wearing orange throughout this year’s home playoff games and at home games all next year. Here’s the snippets from PhinallyPhilly.com: [...]

Any word on if the orange for next year will be the retro style jersey or an orange version of the current home/road style?
