Paint the Bank red for Harry the K

Posted by Kieran Kelly On April - 17 - 2009

0EAAAFE4-A917-4072-8725-2CBC0B42695D.jpgIt’s become fashionable in the Philadelphia area, and even beyond, to wear the old school colors of the Phillies. That maroon and powder blue just go so well together. I’ll admit, I’m a full supporter of the old colors.

The green has also become the Phillies’ unofficial fourth color. I also fall into this category as well.

However, this has caused for a very mismatched crowd at Phillies games. There is white, red, maroon, green, powder blue, all kinds of colors.

In my opinion, it would be a fitting tribute to Harry if everyone in attendance tonight would wear red. It’s not much, but can you imagine what the Bank would look like if everyone was in red? It would be incredible.

It’s a little late, but I’m going to try for the rest of the day to push this. I’m going to be wearing as much red as I can to the game tonight.

It will be amazing if it happens, but even if it doesn’t, tonight is going to be an amazing, but emotional, night for Phillies fans.

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m on Twitter constantly. I know many of the readers of Phinally Philly are on there as well. On top of following our site account, @Phinally, my updates can be found at @kierankelly.

I put all kinds of things up there. Mostly Phillies related, but other sports items as well. I touch on everything, so I’m warning in advance.

Once again, pass the word on for a “red-out” at the Bank tonight.
