Hey! Don’t look now but the Sixers have become good enough again to have “expectations,” from the fan base. It’s the first step to regained respect for the “black shirts.”
And after such a disappointing end to the season fans no doubt are angry and need a place to vent. I want YOU to vent intelligently, with actual SOLUTIONS to the Sixers problems.
At the end of last season people didn’t seem to irritated by the way the Sixers were eliminated by the Detroit Pistons. However, after an off season that brought us Elton Brand and needed role players to fill the bench, there was buzz dare I say excitement about your 76ers. After the Elton Brand injury and the firing of Maurice Cheeks the Sixers found themselves irrelevant in the Philly Sports world. As the Flyers had promise and Spring Training was just around the corner.
They went on a little bit of a hot streak after Tony DiLeo took over and fans started to take notice. After the embarrassing game 6 loss, fans really took notice.
So now make the Sixers take notice of YOU. Give some intelligent solutions that are possible. In your solving of the Sixers try to answer the following questions:
You play Ed Stefanski here, how would YOU fix the Sixers?
What would you do with Andre Miller? Sign him or let him go? If he goes who would you get to replace him?
How would you solve the situation at Center? Samuel Dalembert?
What moves would you make in the off season to allow Elton Brand to be more successful next season?
Would you keep Tony DiLeo? If not who would you bring in?
And this isn’t exactly a term paper or anything but don’t just give me answers, tell me why. Explain your reasons.
