Posted by Chris Shafer On July - 15 - 2009

Despite the fact that everyone already knew about it, the Flyers will be playing the Boston Bruins on January 1st, 2010 up at Fenway Park for the 3rd Annual NHL Winter Classic.

Click to go to my official Examiner.com story with all the details.

Since I knew about this months ago I will spare you all the details if you don’t want them. The above link has the full story based on the press release I recently got from the Philadelphia Flyers organization as well as some stuff I found out before hand. The video of the press conference in Fenway featuring everyone’s favorite commissioner, Gary Bettman, is up on both the main Flyers page and the main NHL page.
