See Ya Andre
Andre Miller and the Portland Trailblazers have agreed to terms. After weeks of speculation of a possible sign-and-trade involving Miller that is no longer a possibility. Portland has the cap room to sign Miller to more than the mid-level exception so a sign-and-trade is not necessary. The deal is believed to be for 2 or 3 years.
Earlier in the day the Sixers pulled their 1-year deal offer for Miller off the table when they learned of the agreement between he and Portland.
The Sixers were only willing to give Miller a 1-year deal, which hasn’t changed in their pursuit for a veteran Point Guard. They have already offered free agent Point Guard C.J Watson a 1-year deal which he quickly declined. They are also weighing other options like Jamaal Tinsley and Carlos Arroyo.
More to come….
