If you, like me, are completely inept at finding out who actually threw the beer at Shane Victorino by watching the video then don’t worry. Thanks to Philebrity we now can put a face on this classless act.
The guy who got tossed is some dude wearing glasses who I assume was saying something he shouldn’t have been to Shane down on the field. You can see it clearly in the video. Unfortunately the MLB cracked down on the high quality version citing copyright infringement, so all that’s left is this slightly fuzzy version:
It’s enough to get the basic gist.
Above to the left is the guy who actually threw the beer. As everyone probably already knows both the Phillies and the Cubs are filing criminal charges against the real beer-thrower. On top of that Victorino is also taking this matter through correct legal proceedings.
As the title to the Philebrity link says, “God help this Cubs fan if he’s ever spotted within 90 miles of Philadelphia.”
I applaud Shane for keeping his cool this time. I don’t think I could’ve done it if I had a beer chucked at my skull while I was trying to make a catch.
