Are You Ready for “Kevin Kolb as the Eagles Starter Part Deux”?

Posted by David Foley On September - 21 - 2009

…You better be. Per PFT:

“NBC’s Peter King reported after Sunday night’s game that Donovan McNabb was not expected to play in Philly’s home game next week against the Chiefs.

Kevin Kolb is expected to get the start, and the Eagles will have a ten play package to work Michael Vick into the game.”

If anything were to happen to Kolb, Jeff Garcia would take over as the starter.

All due respect to the Chiefs, but Kolb’s 391 passing yards against the Saints projects to about 575 against KC. I have a feeling we’ll be just fine.

Look on the bright side too…Kolb will get another chance to boost his trade value for when he’s inevitably shopped around this upcoming offseason!

I'm sure it's been asked, but I want to see Vick of Garcia. Kolb did a good job, but 3 interceptions aren't going to do it.
