"...his lack of emotion which in reality the opposite of what a bunch of “Broad Street Bullies” need behind their bench".

I don't agree with your statement. The leader of the Broad Street Bullies, Fred Shero, was about as unemotional behind the bench as they come. In fact his nickname was "The Fog" becuase he was not only mysterious but also seemed to be living in a fog.

At th eprofessional level,It's up to the players to get it going when it counts.

There are some analysts who have concluded that thePronger trade will nopt make the Flyers a good defensive squad. This is based on historical data which assigns defensive values to each defenseman and forward. Pronger and Timmonen are above average, average being 4.0 for defenseman, and 2.0 for forwards. 2 of the Flyer defensemen were below the average for forwards, and 10 of the forwards were below average . This results in high numbers of shots on goal. As for Pronger, clearly he has a rep for cheap shots and as a head hunter. Certainly the Penguins are aware of this, but attempts to hurt Crosby and Malkin will likely result in that A+ forward squad playing with their heads on a swivel.

C+ for coaching?!? Should be a D. Stevens gets outcoached by just about everyone in the league. He's Andy Reid without the consistent winning and worse game management skills, which really says a lot. He should have lost his job after that first round exit.
