Ok. While Howard got millions, someone wants something and she is a bad person. I hold a one of a kind stuff of a well known player (multiple gold glove winner). This stuff it was part of player´s childhood and he did not know the existence of the item. So, I suposse I should give to him, who got over $60.000.000 in his career and just expect a smile from him.

I'm no blinded Philly fan, I'm can see clearly. The Phillies are getting screwed with this. All of this publicity that is coming out makes it seem like the Phillies are the bad guy in this scenario.

She got a different ball, autographed by Ryan Howard himself. Let Ryan have his milestone ball. What does that specific ball mean to her? To Ryan, it means a lot. He broke a long standing MLB record with that ball.

To tell you the truth, I don't believe a word that girl says. Of course she has not plans to sell.....now. Not after dragging the Phillies through the mud. She'll wait until the commotion dies down and then when RyHo is going for the HOF, then the ball will all of a sudden appear for sale.

This is nothing but a money grab by the girl's family. Plain and simple.

Please. It's just a game used ball to this girl. To Ryan Howard it represents years of hard work. While I don't agree with someone lying to the girl in an effort to recover Ryan Howard's homerun ball, the family should have yielded when they discovered it was a milestone baseball. For them to sure to get the ball back is a total joke. The girl got an autographed Ryan Howard baseball for crying out loud. I'd like to have one of those.

Figures you're a blinded Philly fan…from an unbiases article… and, excuse me, the girl is 12 and was duped. That's why kids can't vote till they're 18. They haven't matured enough to make a decision like that especially not knowing all the facts.

Jennifer has no plans to sell. She keeps the ball in her room, hidden near her bunk so friends can't take it.

Why is everyone under the delusion that the Phillies organization gave her the “200th” home run ball back? RyHo has the ball at his house and the Philllies probably just gave her a scoffed up batting practice ball. This girls mother is totally c*nt :)

Actually, the Phillies couldn't have prevailed in court due to contract law with regards to minors. Minors can break a contract at any time, since you cannot legally enter into a contract directly with a minor. You may only due so with a guardian and from what I've been reading on this story, there was no guardian present. Contract law is written up in order to prevent things like this from happening. Of course the little girl isn't going to ask for much. She has no concept of fair value. The Phillies should have compensated her in proportion to the estimated value of the ball, but instead they only gave her a signed ball.
