As was widely reported yesterday, Cole Hamels’ wife Heidi went into labor yesterday during Game 2 of the NLDS, while Cole was pitching.
After coming out, he was told his wife was in labor and rushed out of the dugout to go to the hospital.
Well, Heidi Hamels gave birth this morning to a baby boy, Caleb Michael.
I’m putting him down for the Phillies’ first round draft pick in 2028.
Best of luck to you Cole and Heidi. Maybe you can put Caleb in that puppy backback and save a few bucks.
