“Just get me to the plate, boys.”

Was there ever any doubt?

Ryan Howard has been on a tear this postseason. He had an RBI in 8 straight postseason games prior to tonight, tying Lou Gehrig’s record.

Going into tonight’s game, RyHo was batting .379 with 2 HR and 14 RBI in 8 games.

Those are MVP type numbers, and he got the recognition that he deserved.

Howard now has a Rookie of the Year award, Most Valuable Player award, and an NLCS MVP award to put in his trophy case.

He has truly become one of the best players in the game and it is awesome to see him do it while wearing Phillies pinstripes.
