Boosh is back!

He played his last game in a Flyers uniform way back in the 2002 playoffs, but he intends to rock the orange once again against his team from last season, the San Jose Sharks.

Boucher actually requested his former team on the schedule, and whether or not this is the organization acknowledging that request, he will suit up Sunday against a Stanley Cup contender. Emery will play on Saturday against the much weaker Florida Panthers.

I’d feel safer with letting Boucher start against the Panthers rather than his former team and letting Emery play against the deadly Sharks. The organization is going to let him do it though, so hopefully he comes to play.

Both games this weekend are at the Wachovia Center.

INJURY UPDATES

Betts will not return this weekend. Though his seperated shoulder is much better, he has not done any face-offs, shooting, or contact in practice so far. It’s likely that the line-up for the weekend will be much the same as it was on Thursday against the Bruins.

Ryan Parent, on the other hand, has a small chance of returning before Betts. His skating so far has been much better, but his return to the line-up has not been set yet.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!
